Growing up I was always a creative child, drawing constantly and asking Santa for more paints (nothing has changed). Down the road, in high school I was fortunate enough to have an amazing art teacher and an Advanced Placement art program where I completed a 2D Design Portfolio and Drawing Portfolio for art examination. During high school my art was displayed, with some of my fellow peers', at the Lucas Centre (2010), Vancouver Art Gallery (2011), and the Big Ideas Art Exhibition (2011). While secondary art education was appealing, I ultimately decided to pursue other interests, and received my Bachelor's Degree in Criminology with a Certificate in Forensic Studies from Simon Fraser University.

Since graduation I've had more time for my passion and have spent countless hours researching and practising, teaching myself new techniques. This includes working with oil based paints, in which I truly feel I've found my medium.

I crave to create meaningful, beautiful, and striking imagery that makes this somewhat deficient world we live in that much more beautiful.
